After serving many years in in the electronics industry as a bench technician I was asked if would be a quality assurance manager for BSKYB and then went on to become a field manager. I was asked by Cobra Installations to join them as an Area Manager and help win them the preferred installation partner status with Sky which I did. I left there after three years to join British Gas and worked on the Electric Warrants and then became acting Field Manager for Manchester / Liverpool Warrants team. In 2008 I decided I wanted to go back to working for myself and start my own business so I took the numerous exams and qualified as an electrician passing the 17th edition BS7671 and PartP exams. I joined the NICEIC the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting and in my opinion the best one of several organisations which regulates the training and work of electrical enterprises in the UK. It also guarantees the workmanship of all its contractors for six years.
All work that needs certifying is done on official NICEIC certification all work that needs notification to your local planning department is done by myself and the NICEIC taking the hassle away from you, our customer.
